The Check-In Station is in the large parking lot directly in front of CVS/Pharmacy located at 125 West Washington St. Chambersburg. Last minute registrations will be taken at the Check Station on Friday evening between 4-7 PM and Saturday morning between 6-8 AM. No registrations will be accepted after 8:00 AM on Saturday morning.

Please respect the PROPERTY OWNERS! There are several sections of the stream on privately owned land that should not be trespassed on. DO NOT FISH BEHIND ROLL-A-WAY ROLLER SKATING RINK. We will not be stocking that area.

Check-In Station hours are Saturday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM & Sunday 9:00 AM till 3:00 PM. No prize money will be paid out after 3:00 PM on Sunday.

Each participant must be registered and must display an official tournament registration badge. If the participant is 16 years of age or older they must also possess a valid PA Fishing License and Trout Stamp.

Tagged fish (TAGS MUST REMAIN INTACT ONLY FOR THE BIG FISH CONTEST) must be presented at the check station to collect prize(s). Any evidence of tampering will result in disqualification.

All fish must be legally and fairly caught. Snagging, netting and use of trotlines are NOT permissible.

Any individuals found in violation of rules will be disqualified. Respect the rights of property owners.

Only fish caught by registered participants are eligible for prizes.

Fishing hours are 6:00 AM Saturday through Sunday 3:00 PM where permitted.

No fishing in the derby on Friday night! If we catch you fishing prior to the event you will be disqualified from the Trout Derby and not receive a refund. We want the derby to be fair to everyone, don’t fish early.
