The Franklin County Library System is delighted to see the first pledge payment come in from the Chambersburg Noontime Lions Club. Their $2,000 gift will immediately be put to good use as construction at the Coyle Free Library is well underway. The Lions' total pledge of $10,000 over a 5 year period represents a significant investment to our local community.

After casual conversations leading to growing enthusiasm the First Annual Sporting Clays Fun Day is becoming a reality. Team Members Lions: Dave Decker, Jim Fegan, Tim Fisler, Rob Fulcher, Steve Hawbaker and Dennis Shindle concurred on a schedule of tasks that will have our Club in good shape to host this new event.
On Feb 16, 2016, 7 members, 2 wives and 1 daughter of the Chambersburg Noontime Lions Club headed by Lion John Nogle, made a meal for the residents of the SCAAP Franklin County Homeless Shelter. What a wonderful experience it was for all. Everyone pitched in to make a special winter time Barbecue.
Happy to welcome Mike Ross from FCADC as our guest speaker. Also, happy birthday to Lions Bob Scholleart, Harold Taylor, Harry Oyler - turning 96 years old. Mark Ruzicka & Nancy Myers.
