Lions District "Environmental Photo Contest"

Lions - As announced earlier, we are asking you to participate in the 2017-2018 district photo contest. The rules of the contest are simple and are listed below. Let’s make this a fun competition! • Photographs are to be of an environmental theme. For example, pictures of insects, reptiles, birds, mammals, plants, flowers, or landscapes will be accepted. Basically, any photos that are related to our environment will be accepted for judging. Only photos taken during the current Lions year may be entered. • Photos should be at least 5” X 7” in size (preferably 8” X 10”) although any photo size will be accepted so long as it depicts a qualifying image. • The photo contest is open to all Lions, Lionesses, and Leos in District 14-T. Only one photo for judging may be submitted, so submit your best one. • Each club will establish a meeting date during the current Lion year where all photos taken by members in that club will be brought to the club for judging. Judging shall be done by written ballots only. Winning photographs will then advance to the District for final judging. • Final judging (by written ballots) will be held at the District 14-T Convention next spring by those members in attendance at which time one photo will be selected as overall winner. A fabulous prize will be awarded to the winner!
