2008 Trout Derby Rule & Regulations

Derby will take place in the East Branch of the Conococheague from the concrete bridge by the Scotland Post Office to T.K. & Nellie Nitterhouse Soccer Complex.

Please respect the property of others! There are several sections of the stream on privately owned land that should not be trespassed.

The Check Station is located in the large parking lot between Washington & Loudon Street beside the CVS Pharmacy at 125 West Washington Street, Chambersburg, PA. Last minute registrations will be taken at the Check Station on Friday evening May 2th between 4-8pm and Saturday morning May 3rd between 5-6am. No registrations will be accepted after 6:00 am on the morning of May 3, 2008
Check Station hours are May 3rd 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
and May 4th 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM. No prize money will be paid out after 5:15 PM on Sunday May 4th, 2008
Each participant must be registered and must display an official tournament registration badge. If participant is 16 years of age or older they must also possess a valid PA Fishing License and Trout Stamp.
Tagged fish (tags must remain intact) must be presented at the check station to collect prize(s). Any evidence of tampering will result in disqualification.
All fish must be legally and fairly caught. Snagging, netting and use of trout lines are NOT permissible.
Any individuals found in violation of rules will be disqualified.
Respect the rights of property owners.
Only fish caught by registered participants are eligible for prizes.
Fishing hours are 6:00 AM Saturday through Sunday 5:00 PM where permitted.

Pre-registration fee $15.00 for Adults, Children (12 & under) - $10.00 if postmarked by April 21

Regular registration fee $23.00 for Adults, Children (12 & under) - $15.00 between April 22 & May 3rd by 6:00am

No registrations will be accepted after 6:00AM on Saturday May 3rd.
