The Franklin County Library System is delighted to see the first pledge payment come in from the Chambersburg Noontime Lions Club. Their $2,000 gift will immediately be put to good use as construction at the Coyle Free Library is well underway. The Lions' total pledge of $10,000 over a 5 year period represents a significant investment to our local community. Mark D Story, Director of Development for FCLS says, "The Lions Club motto of 'We Serve' is clearly more than just a trite slogan. They serve as a stellar example of people coming together for the common good. Chambersburg is a better place because of the Noontime Lions Club." Visit coylefreelibrary.org to learn more about the library and to see pictures and videos of the construction progress thus far.
