To all of our Trout Derby supporters: After much discussion and careful consideration we have unfortunately decided to cancel this year’s Trout Derby. This is not a decision we take lightly as it is our only fundraiser and the lifeblood of all of our giving. To those of you who have sent in your registration money, we will refund you 100%. We have not deposited any checks/money orders yet so we can simply destroy the checks or send them back – whatever you prefer.

If you would like to donate your registration money to our club for the various projects we fund (eye glasses, exams, etc.) you have that option as well.

To the businesses who sponsor our event every year, we couldn’t do this without you. If you’ve already donated – thank you. If you would like that donation back, we can certainly do so. If you would like us to keep it, thank you. There are still many, many people who need our help (perhaps now more then ever) and we rely on the Trout Derby to raise the funds to finance the assistance we provide.

We thank our community, our fishermen/women and the local businesses that make our Trout Derby such a great event. We didn’t want to shut it down this year, but in light of the event before us right now we feel we have no choice.

We’re all in this together and together we will come out stronger and more united then ever.
